Alne Primary School

Since the 1870s the children of Alne used to be taught in what is now the village hall. In 1972 a new, modern, purpose built school opened its doors to the children from Alne and nearby villages.
In the autumn of 2011, the school was judged 'outstanding' by Ofsted.

The school has its own website, which you can access at http://alne.n-yorks.sch.uk

Friends of Alne School (FOAS) is a registered charity run by a group of parents and teachers.  We raise additional funds for school and provide opportunities for parents and pupils to get together socially.  We have a regular calendar of events and hope you will join us to enjoy the great social life that exists around Alne Primary School. For an update on events please see the school's website link above. Or contact the Chair, Ann Morrison, on 833129 or  annmorrison_@hotmail.co.uk
